| History |
| FortConsult was founded in 2002 by IT security expert Ulf Munkedal. The first employees at FortConsult were handpicked to shape the first few years of the existence of the company. The majority of these employees had backgrounds as security consultants at Neupart & Munkedal, which was Ulf Munkedal′s first security enterprise. |

| Up until the present day the number of employees, primarily IT security consultants, has gradually increased to reach the current level of 26 employees, of which 18 carry out tasks for our customers. |

| In July 2006 FortConsult became a limited liability company. |
| |
| Founder |
| FortConsult′s founder, Ulf Munkedal, qualified as an engineer and has worked with IT security since 1992. In 1997 he became co-founder of the IT security firm Neupart & Munkedal, which was later renamed VIGILANTe in conjunction with its introduction onto the American market. |

| VIGILANTe was one of the first security companies in the world to carry out penetration tests, and at home the company has undoubtedly contributed to increasing the awareness of the need for security in Danish businesses. |

| In 2000 Ulf Munkedal made the top 30 list in the USA of CEOs below the age of 30. |

| |
| Ulf Munkedal is regarded by many as one of the pioneers within Danish IT security and over the years he has contributed to the security debate with numerous comments, articles and conference papers. |

| Ownership |
| The majority of FortConsult is owned by the company′s founder Ulf Munkedal. Business Angel and board director Stig Hølledig has invested in 10% of FortConsult while the remainder is owned by a large proportion of its employees. |

| Economy |
| Our business is sound and enjoying stable growth, both with regard to turnover and the bottom line. This growth is financed without securing loans or through injections of capital from outside. |

| FortConsult has made a profit and experienced considerable growth during the past four years. In 2008 the profit (PBT) reached 1.4 million Danish kroner and the turnover increased by 25 percent while the profit (PBT) increased to 4 million Danish kroner in 2009. |

| In 2010 FortConsult was rated AAA in terms of Dun & Bradstreet's financial strength indicator as proof of its financial stability. |

| Organisation |
| Ulf Munkedal is the day-to-day manager of FortConsult and is furthermore responsible for consultancy regarding security test deliveries. In addition to Ulf Munkedal, the management group consists of International Sales Director Kim Schlyter, National Sales and Marketing Director Peter T. Hansen, PCI Consultancy and Delivery Director Lars Syberg, Delivery Manager Lisbeth Cardoso and Finance and Administrations Manager Allan Kjær. |

| FortConsult has 23 employees, where 14 employees work in the Technical department, 7 in Sales and 2 in Administration. |

| Customers |
| FortConsult′s customer segment consists primarily of Denmark′s biggest and most security-conscious enterprises. The customer segment includes a large number of financial enterprises and a number of public bodies. We are a regular supplier of IT security tests to approximately one third of Denmark′s 50 biggest enterprises and around two thirds of the financial sector, including Denmark′s four biggest banks. |

| Moreover, we are in the process of establishing ourselves abroad and our customer group is rapidly increasing in the rest of Europe, primarily in Scandinavia and the Baltic states. The internationalisation strategy has with success been carried on into 2010 and FortConsult has entered into agreements with a number of large international financial companies. |

| We do ongoing scans for a long range of quality-conscious campaigns. In the last three years, our customers have given us an average quality rating of 8,5 on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest. |

| Right from its beginnings, FortConsult′s focus has been the technical side of IT security. Our primary services include thorough security assessments, security reviews and unbiased security consultancy. |

| Our impartiality and independence mean that we do not sell security products such as firewalls, and as such our recommendations are based on the needs of the customer concerned and our wide-ranging knowledge of the market - and not on the basis of whether we sell the products in question. |

| Research |
| FortConsult′s security consultants work with vulnerabilities every single day, e.g. when carrying out security tests or when assessing new security threats on behalf of our customers. We have therefore developed a unique core competence in the area of vulnerabilities which also means that we discover new vulnerabilities in existing products on an ongoing basis. |

In 2005 we decided to exploit this knowledge by putting together an independent research team to find new vulnerabilities.
As of May 2010, we have published 28 new advisories. |
