A PCI security scan involves FortConsult scanning your IT systems via automatic tools. We document the vulnerabilities we find in a detailed report that you can use directly to bring your security up to scratch in accordance with VISA′s and MasterCard′s requirements.   The PCI security scan consists of a security test of all IT systems that are connected to the Internet, including firewalls, mail servers, web servers, DNS servers and load balancers. In addition, we scan web applications and wireless networks.   It is a requirement that all units are tested - also in cases where they are isolated by means of DMZ. Furthermore, the test must include all the websites that are on the web servers. No systems may have vulnerabilities with a "high" risk status. In such cases, you must remedy this vulnerability and we will carry out a new test to verify that the vulnerability has been removed.   If you wish to have more than, or an alternative to, a PCI security scan, we also offer various alternatives. For example, we can carry out a more in-depth test and supplement this with manual attacks and inspections or we can carry out a test of your internal systems.
